Eco-Friendly Silicone Storage Bags

Ive been using this product for about a month now. I use it to freeze raw meat and fish to reduce plastic waste. One bag holds about 4 medium chicken breasts. The fact that its silicone is great because I can boil the bags to disinfect after use.So far so good. No meat juice leakage and really easy to clean. I hand wash it with dish soap and water, then I leave it in a pot of boiling water with some vinegar to disinfect for about 10-15 minutes. If you use it for stuff other than meat, theres no need to boil it.The silicone is thick and durable. Just dont expect the bag to stand on its own for you to fill.Overall, Im really happy with my purchase :)

I love this product. Keeps food well sealed for freezer use. Even though they are coloured and opaque, you can still see through well enough to identify the product if no label is used. They don't slide around in the freezer and so much easier to use than freezer paper/plastic bags. Sliders are a bit of a challenge to slide on and off but they do work very well to keep food sealed. Easy to clean and come in generous sizes.

I've tried out a couple of different products. These are strong and the bottom opens up so you can fill with liquids or thicker items than a sandwich, and they are a perfect replacement for single-use sandwich bags. They have measurements printed on them to give you an idea of how much is in each bag if you're trying to keep things even. I have used it in the freezer, fridge, lunch bags and they all work great. I haven't tried them for heating food yet. The clip gives me an extra sense of security for keeping liquids in the bag.I don't like that the clip is hard to slide. That's not good for kids or people with arthritis to try to wrangle, but I suspect it will get easier over time. Also, each bag is essentially two pieces - the bag and the clip - so if you are a person who constantly loses the lids to things, this probably isn't the item for you. The clip is not just for extra security; it is an essential part for keeping the bag closed. The bag does not snap shut the way similar products do.Overall, these are perfect for what I'm using them for - mostly storage and leftovers.

I bought these for the sole purpose of transporting soup and being able to boil the whole bag to warm it up. And it works like a charm.Good:- really thick bags, good quality and fully leakproof.- easy for freezing, I can wedge them anywhere, they don't take up space Still good but a bit annoying:- it is a thick silicone and you have to hold the bag while pouring the soup in. It will hold up once the liquid is in, but if empty, no.- dishwasher will not wash it, it closes up. The easiest is to fill it with water and use brush to clean folds and then the rest.- sliding them open is hit and miss, depending on your mood that day you're gonna dislike it or just be ok with it. But, they don't leak so fiddling with opening is not a big issue.

I ordered 2 packs of these wonderful silicon food storage bags and so far I am not disapointed. I have been trying to find ways to reduce the use of disposible plastic bags for a while and as a college student I use these mainly to store cooked foods in the freezer. If you have fresh foods you bought from the grocery store you can chop them into little pieces and store them in the refridgerator, it keeps them fresh and crispy longer. I used to have to throw away vegetables becasue they have gone not good, so for me it was a great way to save money for the long run. These bags are durable and leak proof (I have stored soup in these). They are so easy to wash and clean (I have put mine in the dishwasher and they have been fine so far, just do not put the plastic piece into the dishwasher). Yes they are a bit dissicult to open at first but with use it gets easier. I 100% recommend this product. I hope you like it as much as I do.
